OUR STORY

HOW IT STARTED

The North River began with a piece of land and a long list of things that needed doing.

In the early days, the setup was simple: a tent in the woods, a small shed and a lot of plans. Over time, that turned into roads, trails, equipment, a sawmill, a solar kiln, lumber, buildings and an ever-growing collection of projects.

We started documenting the work because there was always something happening here. What began as keeping a record of the property has grown into The North River.
